Hello, my name is Andrea. I began coming to the Learning Centre in an effort to expand my current knowledge. I was in terrible need of assistance with math and algebra.

I was introduced to someone here and a program was devised to assist me in these areas. I was asked what my long-term goals were and many other questions. I began to come to the Learning Centre daily.

I was very keen on attaining my short term goals immediately, as I was preparing for a test at college for entrance into the Nursing program. It was a very busy time. As I continued to come to the Centre I began to see the benefits. I was getting wonderful assistance from the staff here. Warren was great in helping to answer any question I had. I also found that Susan was useful in helping. Susan helped to co-ordinate with the college and find out what exactly was needed for the testing. I found great pleasure in coming in daily and knowing that I would leave with more knowledge. Lynn was always a friendly face and helped whenever it was needed.

In November I took the test. However, due to being ill, in serous pain and dealing with the loss of my sister, I did not do as well as I would have liked. I arranged to retake the test in two weeks. It was a success. I passed the Math with a mark of 100%. I would never have been able to do this without the patience and hard work of all the staff at the Learning Centre. I believe that anyone who attends this program will only leave with benefits. I was very impressed with the large differences in all the clients. The staff is patient with all no matter what.

As I continue on the path I am taking I will continue to make use of the resources I have found and the friendships I have made at the Learning Centre. The Centre is a valuable asset to anyone willing to attempt to better themselves, and I would recommend it to anyone.
