The 17th Annual Lake Simcoe Ride for Literacy strikes a perfect balance between scenery and "fun" roads!

START HOMEBASE
The 2010 RFL will continue with the tried and tested route - Clockwise around Lake Simcoe. We will depart Keswick and head south, and then west and swing back up to Bradford for our legendary stop at Northern Motorsports (all that food). From there we head north up Hwy #11 into Barrie. Through Barrie, and we swing around the Lake to head towards Orillia. Along the way will be the picturesque stop at Carthew Bay General Store. Through Orillia and on down Hwy #12. At Brechin (after the Ultramar Stop) we head towards the lake away from the Hwy #12 traffic. We hug the lake towards Beaverton, and keep going the circle through Port Bolster - and meet up with Hwy #48. Now onwards towards Sutton, we will swing down to hug the lake again. Lake drive features incredible views of the lake - be careful of the tourists! Once we are done with Lake Drive make a beeline back to the GEORGINA ICE PALACE - you must be hungry. Enjoy the ride, but please remember to obey all the rules of the road once we no longer have our police escorts. Please also remember to ride safe!
